The 2020 Great Electric Train Show layout line-up is continuing to expand with two new exhibits for the October 10/11 event in Milton Keynes being revealed this month.
Newly announced are Bradford Model Railway Club’s ‘OO’ gauge BR blue era Reevy Road West (HM135) and Paul Hopkins and John Wakeman’s Portsea in 3mm scale (HM154).
These two join Hornby Magazine’s Twelve Trees Junction, Kyle Humphries’ Furnace 5 and Wimborne Railway Society’s Wimborne, announced in HM153.
In total, more than 30 layouts will take part in the event with more exhibits being revealed each month in the run up to the show.
The venue for the 2020 Great Electric Train Show is the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes. It offers refreshments, free parking, a shuttle bus from Milton Keynes Central railway station and access to a wide range of restaurants on site at the retail park around the venue. Doors open at 10am (9.30am for advance ticket holders) each day and close at 5pm on Saturday October 10 and 4pm on Sunday October 11.

Additional highlights include demonstration stands, micro layouts, an expanded Kids Zone and more than 45 trade stands, including a wide range of specialist suppliers and manufacturer stands.
