The specification for Accurascale’s Mk 5s includes sperately fitted metal and plastic detail parts, NEM coupling sockets with small tension locks, prism free glazing, directional lighting for the Driving Trailer, interior lights with a stay-alive capacitor and illuminated destination boards. other features include turned metal wheels, provision for regauging to ‘P4’ and ‘EM’ and operation on a minimum of second radius curves.

Accurascale’s TPE stock will be released in two sets – each offering a complete five-coach train – priced at £225 each. Delivery is reported to be on course for the second quarter of 2020.
