The Gauge O Guild annual Telford exhibition is taking place this weekend (August 31/September 1 2019) at the Telford Exhibition Centre with a list of exciting new announcements for ready-to-run from Ellis Clark Trains, Heljan and Minerva Model Railways.
Today Ellis Clark Trains has revealed that is is working with Darstaed to produce its first finescale ‘O’ gauge steam locomotive – the Stanier ‘Black Five’ 4-6-0. It will be available in LMS and BR liveries with a choice of rivetted and welded Stanier tenders. Prices start at £949 for DCC ready versions rising to £1,199 for DCC sound and smoke equipped models. Heljan has also got a busy list of new announcements at the show covering the refurbished Class 31/1 and Class 31/4 A1A-A1A diesels for ‘O’ gauge plus a new B4 and Commonwealth bogies for its Mk 1 carriages and a brand new model of the BR Mk 1 CCT van. The Mk 1s will be released in BR blue and grey, Regional Railways, InterCity and Network SouthEast colours using the new bogies while the Class 31s will be available in a range of colour schemes including BR blue, ‘Dutch’, Regional Railways and EWS maroon and gold as 31466.
The CCT is a brand new product developement which is to be released in a variety of liveries. Prices and a delivery date are to be confirmed.
Minerva Model Railways is adding two new products to its portfolio – a multi-media kit to allows its popular 7mm scale GWR ‘8750’ 0-6-0PT to be converted into a ’97XX’ condensing tank plus a limited edition plain black version of its recently released (HM144) Manning Wardle ‘K’ 0-6-0ST.
