Dapol shows latest Class 21 development

Dapol has received the second updated engineering samples of its ‘OO’ gauge models of the North British Class 21/29 Bo-Bo diesel electrics for inspection. The two samples have been approved by the team to allow the project to progress to the decorated sample stage.

Models planned for release cover BR green, BR green with small yellow warning panels and BR blue liveries (the latter only on the revised Class 29) with a choice of DCC ready, DCC fitted and DCC sound fitted versions planned. Prices start from £151.94 for the DCC ready model rising to £293.93 for sound equipped versions. The specification includes a 21-pin decoder socket, directional lighting, etched grilles, cab lighting and all-wheel drive. A release date is to be confirmed.
