Join us at the Basingstoke Model Railway Show this weekend!

 

The Basingstoke Model Railway Club is preparing for its annual exhibition on March 8/9 which will feature 19 layouts and 25 trade stands. It takes place at Aldworth Science College in Basingstoke.

Layout highlights include Basingstoke MRC’s Santa’s Holiday layout from the Channel 5 Great Model Railway Challenge television show, the Model Railway Club’s stunning 2mm finescale layout Copenhagen Fields and Hornby Magazine’s recently extended ‘OO’ gauge Western Region terminus Grosvenor Square (HM136).

These layouts will be joined by John Spence’s model of Melton Mowbray (North) in ‘N’ gauge (HM55), Abbey Park modelling London Underground operations in ‘OO’, Evercreech New set on the Somerset and Dorset and built in ‘OO’, the Royal Albert Bridge in ‘N’ gauge and more.

Alongside the layouts 25 traders are booked to attend including Hornby Magazine, Kernow Model Rail Centre, Green Scene, Footplate Models, C&L Finescale, Coastal DCC, Kytes Lights, Squires Tools, Deluxe Materials, Falcon Figures and more.

The show opens at 10am each day – closing at 5pm on Saturday March 8 and 4pm on Sunday March 9 – with tickets priced at £6 for adults, £3 for children and £12 for a family (2+3).
