Dapol shows Lionheart Mk 1s in colour

Dapol has released images of the first decorated samples of its new Lionheart Trains ‘O’ gauge British Railways Mk 1 carriages.

The first samples model the Brake Second Corridor (BSK) in BR maroon and BR Southern Region green and illustrate both external and internal decoration. They are being inspected by the Dapol team prior to production.

The new ‘O’ gauge Mk 1s are set for release during 2019 and include turned metal wheels, a removable roof, gap free running down to second radius curves, die-cast bogie frames, metal buffers and more.

Prices are set at £199.99 per coach with a choice of BSK, Second Open (SO), Second Corridor (SK) and Composite Corridor (CK) vehicles being produced. The full range of liveries extends to BR maroon, BR carmine and cream, BR Southern Region green, BR Western Region chocolate and cream and BR blue and grey.
