Rails confirms Caley ‘812’ pricing and release date

 

Rails of Sheffield has announced the pricing for its ‘OO’ gauge model of the Caledonian Railway ‘812’ 0-6-0 which it revealed it had commissioned from Bachmann at Model Rail Scotland in February 2018.

Prices will start from £179.95 for the LMS and BR black versions with the Caledonian Railway lined blue version costing £199.95. Release is anticipated in 2020 and Rails is taking pre-orders for the 0-6-0.

Five versions are planned covering 57566 in BR black with late crests, 57565 in BR black with early crests and a weathered finish, 17566 in LMS black, 828 in as built Caledonian Railway lined blue and 828 in as preserved Caledonian Railway lined blue.
