‘OO’ friction buffer stops next from Accurascale

Accurascale announced its new ‘OO’ gauge Rawie friction buffer stops at the Great Electric Train Show on October 13/14, with pre-production samples on display at the event.

Installed at terminus stations, depots, sidings and the like from the late 1980s, three versions of this distinctive design of buffer stop are planned initially, with one standard model (Cat No. ACC2000RW) and two versions with Scharfenburg coupler boxes – a standard example (ACC2002SHRF) and one with prototypical illuminating LED light pole (ACC2001LED).

Suitable for use with ‘OO’ gauge code 100 and code 75 track, the LED light pole version will be compatible with DC or DCC power, while each buffer stop will also include prototypical friction shoes and a spacer tool to help installation of these.

Twin packs of standard and Scharfenburg coupler buffer stops are priced at £6.95, with a single pack containing a Scharfenburg pocket buffer stop and LED light pole priced at £5.95. Delivery is expected by the end of the year.
