Dapol has relaunched is project to produce an ‘N’ gauge model of the prototype High Speed Train (HST-P). The new model will be available to order exclusively through Dapol and a donation will be made to Project Miller, the operating group for National Collection owned HST-P power 41001 at Ruddington.
The model is to be produced as separate packs for the power and trailer cars while the specification for the power cars includes working lights, flush glazing, NEM coupling pockets with Rapido and Ezi-shunt magnetic couplings included, DCC ready with Next18 socket, all-wheel pick-up, Dapol super-creep motor. The carriages will be fresh tools and will have recessed door handles, buffers, be light-bar ready with pick-ups and feature NEM coupling pockets.
Packs available include power cars in prototype passenger livery as 41001 and 41002 as well as departmental livery with full yellow ends as 975812 and 975813. Two coach packs will be released, each containing four vehicles covering Trailer First and Trailer Second stock as well as a pack containing the buffet and kitchen cars.
Prices are set at £150 each for the power car packs, £120 each for the carriage packs and £50 for the buffet and kitchen car pack.
