Hatton’s reveals new Class 66 for ‘OO’

 

Hatton’s has revealed that it is developing a brand-new model of the Class 66 Co-Co heavy freight diesel for ‘OO’ gauge. Release is planned in 2019 with prices starting from £150.

The specification includes the ability to model standard and low emission versions, original lights, later large headlights and LED light equipped locomotives, a 21-pin DCC decoder socket, speaker space, rotating axle boxes, a five pole motor with two flywheels and more. Body details will include etched horn, side and radiator grilles, a fully detailed cab interior, bogie pipework and bogie to body chains.

In total 30 versions are planned by Hatton’s covering EWS, DB Schenker, DRS, Freightliner, GBRf and Colas colour schemes.
