Hatton’s shows ‘O’ gauge ‘A3’ progress

Hatton’s has showed the first images of its developing CAD drawing work for the new ‘O’ gauge ready-to-run model of the Gresley ‘A3’ 4-6-2.

The CAD file renders show an early stage of the model’s development with the main work so far being concentrated on the area above the frames – the under frame being the subject of future work.

Hatton’s is producing seven version of the Gresley ‘A3’ covering both single and double chimney locomotives as well as those fitted with smoke deflectors.

The new ‘A3’ is being produced by Heljan for Hattons and is expected to be released in 2018. Also in the works is a series of ‘O’ gauge Gresley Teak corridor carriages and the Gresley ‘A4’ 4-6-2.
