Ruston 48DS next for Little Loco Co

Little Loco Company has revealed its second ‘O’ gauge project will be a Ruston 48DS standard gauge diesel shunter.

Announced at the Reading ‘O’ Gauge Show in December, the Ruston is the follow up to its soon to be released debut model – the Class 15 – and two styles of these diminutive shunters are promised in both open and closed cab formats. CAD work for the model is now virtually complete with delivery anticipated in spring 2017.

Highlights include die-cast metal chassis, high-torque motor, shunting lights, interior cab illumination, removable cab roof, standard PluX Digital Command Control (DCC) decoder socket.

Prices are expected to be around £200-£225 for non-sound models and £265-£285 for DCC sound examples.
