Today Hornby has announced two new additions to its well received range of BR Mk 1 stock for ‘OO’ gauge in the Brake Second Open and First Open. Both will form part of the manufacturer’s 2017 range plan.
Both models feature new tooling and they will be released in a choice of BR maroon and BR blue and grey liveries. The specification will match the same high standards as the first BR Mk 1 vehicles introduced by Hornby from 2013 including flush glazing, metal wheels and NEM coupling pockets. They join the Second Open, Corridor Composite, Tourist Second Open and Brake Second Corridor in Hornby’s Mk 1 range.
Release dates and pricing are still to be announced for the new vehicles.
